Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a strong message on terrorism at the SCO Summit in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, calling for an end to double standards and warning that terrorism cannot be used as a strategic asset. Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was also present at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit, where leaders discussed terrorism, regional security, connectivity, trade and stability. PM Modi called for the dismantling of the entire terror ecosystem, including terror financing, recruitment, radicalisation and safe havens. He also stressed the need for a united global response against terrorism. 

Pakistani PM Shehbaz Sharif’s struggle with a headset during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin has gone viral. Putin was seen smiling and even trying to guide Sharif on how to wear it, sparking social media trolling. The incident comes after Sharif was earlier mocked for an awkward handshake with the Russian leader at the SCO summit.
