A 39-year-old man was allegedly attacked with a sickle at the MHADA police quarters in Malvani, Malad West, following a confrontation linked to an old dispute. He suffered injuries to his cheek, the back of his head and right hand and was taken to Shatabdi Hospital for treatment

According to preliminary information, neighbours noticed a foul smell emanating from the house and alerted Mumbai Police. The house was reportedly locked from the outside. When Malvani Police opened the premises and entered, they found the woman’s body lying inside in a highly decomposed condition
