The Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation (MRVC) has launched a Multimodal Integration Study to improve connectivity between Mumbai's Metro network and suburban railway stations

Guru Tegh Bahadur Nagar railway station on Mumbai's Harbour line is set to become the first multi-level station on the corridor under the Mumbai Urban Transport Project (MUTP) III. The MRVC project will add elevated decks, new foot overbridges, a skywalk and extended platforms, with completion targeted by March 2027.
