Mumbai News LIVE Updates: The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Friday launched an artificial intelligence (AI)-based building permission system - CivitTwin - aimed at speeding up approvals and bringing transparency to Mumbai's construction clearance process. In a release, the Mumbai civic body said the system, which is the country's first, was inaugurated by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis during the 'Mumbai Tech Week 2026' event at the Jio World Convention Centre in Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) on Friday. Mumbai News LIVE Updates: Central Railway (CR) Friday, announced a special block in the Kasara section between June 2 and June 5 to undertake preparatory overhead equipment (OHE) work related to the removal of infringements in the Igatpuri-Khardi section. According to the officials, the block will be carried out daily from 3:50 pm to 5:50 pm between Tuesday and Friday. The work will affect operations on the UP line, mid line, UP yard line and Platforms 2, 3 and 4 between Thal Ghat Reversal Cabin and Khardi station, excluding both stations.
