The Paradise box office collection day 1: Nani's mass action entertainer has scored the biggest opening of his career and surpassed the day 1 collection of two of the biggest blockbusters from Telugu and Hindi cinema.

The international category has received entries from countries including Japan, Sri Lanka, Germany, Nigeria and Singapore. The participation from overseas is expected to give Maharashtra's state festival a wider global identity, officials said.
