Dubai: The 2016 World Twenty20 will be played in India from March 11 to April 3.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) approved the dates for its main events through to 2019, following its Board meeting here Thursday. Though the tournaments were awarded to countries in 2013, the dates were approved Thursday.
