Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) opener, Chris Gayle is upbeat over his franchise's success in Season V of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The former West Indies captain was the best performer in IPL-IV. “I’ve enjoyed playing in the IPL, but it was in the fourth edition that I got to play a bigger role for my team (RCB). I was hurt last season after we lost in the finals of both IPL and Champions League. I hope we can do well this time despite the tournament being more hectic,” said Gayle, who has amassed 271 runs so far with a strike rate of 154.70.
