Indian opener Abhishek Sharma commended his regular opening partner Sanju Samson for selflessly giving up his spot to teenager Vaibhav Sooryavanshi during the third T20 International against New Zealand, which India won by six wickets.

Abhishek produced a spectacular 38-ball 113, sharing a mammoth 133-run stand in just seven overs with Sooryavanshi (45 off 19 balls), who was elevated to the top of the order after batting at No. 3 in the preceding match.
