AC Milan intend to appeal the three-match ban imposed on striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic after he was dismissed in yesterday's Serie A match against Bari. The Sweden striker hit out at Marco Rossi off the ball in the 73rd minute of the 1-1 draw and was given his marching orders. The league today confirmed the 29-year-old would receive a three-match ban for the offence, which will rule him out of the upcoming derby against Inter Milan. In a short statement this evening, Milan said: "AC Milan will appeal against the disciplinary action imposed on Zlatan Ibrahimovic." The striker stands to miss matches at Palermo and Fiorentina, as well as the Milan derby on April 3.
