Cricket Association of Bihar chief Aditya Verma yesterday said he would file a contempt petition before the Supreme Court against the BCCI, N Srinivasan and other important functionaries of the Board for allegedly violating an earlier order of the top court.

"Being a petitioner of this case, now I will move a contempt against BCCI, Srini and especially against IPL chairman (Ranjib Biswal) for his interview in (New) Indian Express on May 3," Verma, a petitioner in the IPL spot fixing case, said in a release. In that interview, Biswal had apparently said "overall, he (Srinivasan) is the president of BCCI.
