Energetic striker Angel Braganza’s triple strikes helped the Vashi side overcome a determined challenge from arch-rivals Sea View SC, Bandra by a 3-2 margin in the MDFA-organised Bombay Gymkhana-Women’s Football League (WFL) at the Bombay Gymkhana ground yesterday.

Consistent scorer Jennifer Rayyar and roving midfielder Laura Estibeiro got the two goals for the Bandra girls. The champions received Rs 30,000 while runners-up were richer by Rs 20,000. Abeer Arsiwalla of SP Academy was adjudged the most promising player.
