Birmingham: Australia in their second innings were 168 for seven, a lead of just 23 runs, against England at the close of the second day of the third Ashes Test at Edgbaston yesterday.

Peter Nevill was 37 not out and Mitchell Starc seven not out, with England fast bowler Steven Finn taking five for 45 in 13 overs.
Dashing opener David Warner's 77 was the only bright spot for Australia in their second innings.
