Australia women’s cricket team vice-captain Ashleigh Gardner has broken her silence on the cheating scandal with teammate Georgia Voll which led to her marriage collapsing, admitting she made “poor decisions.”

Gardner’s relationship with Voll, 23, became public a few days after Australia’s T20 World Cup triumph at Lord’s in July. Gardner’s then wife Monica Wright, 38, posted a picture of Voll on Instagram with the caption: “This is who my wife cheated on me with.” The story overshadowed the Australian team’s achievement.
