In the 'Super Four' Asia Cup 2025 match against Bangladesh, Pakistan posted a total of 135 runs for the loss of eight wickets in 20 overs.

Having put to bat first, Sahibzada Farhan and Fakhar Zaman opened the innings for the "Green Shirts" at the Dubai International Stadium.

Neither of the opening batsmen was able to deliver a good performance with their willows as the Bangladeshi bowlers claimed early wickets. Facing four balls, Sahibzada managed to score just four runs, which came with the help of a boundary. On the other hand, Zaman departed on 13 runs off 20 balls. His knock included two boundaries.

Saim Ayub, who was expected to deliver, continued to follow the shadows of his previous games. He returned to the pavilion on a three-ball duck. Skipper Salman Ali Agha managed to score 19 runs in 23 balls. He also smashed two boundaries and seemed to score a big knock, but Mustafizur Rahman cut short his innings as Agha edged it in the hands of Jaker Ali.

After that, Hussain Talat returned to the pavilion on three runs in seven balls. Shaheen Shah Afridi, who came in as a pinch hitter, accumulated 19 runs in 13 balls, which included two maximums.

Later, Mohammad Haris played a crucial knock of 31 runs, which came in 23 balls. His knock was laced with two boundaries and a maximum. Mohammad Nawaz was another player who managed to score crucial runs for the "Green Shirts". Facing 15 balls, he smashed 25 runs, which also included a boundary and two maximums.

Faheem Ashraf and Haris Rauf stayed unbeaten on the scores of 14 and three runs, respectively.

Bangladesh bowlers brought their 'A-game' in the all-important 'Super Four' clash of the Asia Cup 2025. Completing his quota of four overs, Rishad Hossain claimed two wickets by conceding 18 runs. Mahedi Hasan, too, bagged two wickets for 28 runs in his spell of four overs.

Taskin Ahmed played a huge role in restricting Pakistan to a below par total. Bowling four overs, he gave away 28 and registered three wickets.

Lead pacer Mustafizur Rahman bowled four overs and scalped a wicket by conceding 33 runs. After bowling four overs, Tanzim Hasan Sakib went wicketless in the Asia Cup 2025 match against Pakistan. He conceded 28 runs in his four overs.
