Australia took a 30-run first innings lead despite a strong South African fightback on the second day of the second Test at the Wanderers on Thursday. <br /><br />Australia were bowled out for 296, losing all their wickets for 122 runs after an opening stand of 174 between Shane Watson (88) and Phil Hughes (88). <br /><br />Only four balls were bowled in South Africa's second innings, with no runs scored, before bad light ended play.
