Former Indian cricket captain Mohammed Azharuddin's son Mohammed Ayazuddin's condition remains critical, doctors said yesterday. The 19-year-old met with an accident two days ago while riding a bike.

Ayazuddin continues to be on the ventilator.

He has remained unconscious and his neurological status, following lack of oxygen due to cardiac arrest prior to arrival at the hospital, continues to be a cause of grave concern, according to a medical bulletin.
