LALIT Modi's end game has begun. The Board of Control for Cricket in India has convened a Special General Meeting (SGM) on July 3 to decide the fate of suspended India Premier League Commissioner, Modi.
There is a lot of speculation that Modi may be expelled from the BCCI in the meeting, but the SGM has been mainly convened to discuss replies of the suspended IPL chairman to the three show-cause notices slapped on him by BCCI in the wake of the IPL controversies.
By convening the SGM the BCCI has started their process to sack Modi but it won't happen in the July 3 meeting. The first step for it will be the disciplinary committee's report.
