* Earlier known as 'Akshar', his name on the school leaving certificate was written as 'Axar'. During his tour to Bangladesh, he went by the same name as per his school certificate
*&nbsp;Axar Patel began playing competitive cricket only four years back
*&nbsp;Axar's father encouraged him to play cricket and would also ensure he works hard in the nets
*&nbsp;One of his biggest idols is Yuvraj Singh

*&nbsp;Axar Patel took a five wicket haul in first-class cricket in only his second match. He ended up with figures 6/55 against Delhi

*&nbsp;He won the BCCI U-19 Cricketer of the Year award
*&nbsp;In his 10 ODIs for India, Patel has scored 40 runs and taken 15 wickets
