Former Pakistan captain Salman Butt has appealed against his 30-month jail sentence for spot-fixing in a Test match against England at Lord's last year.

Butt, along with fellow teammates Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Aamer, were sentenced Thursday after a London court found them guilty.
