Pakistan yesterday named Kamran Akmal in their provisional 30-man squad for this year’s World Twenty20, after the wicketkeeper-batsman was cleared of suspicions of spot-fixing.

A Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) integrity committee last week questioned Kamran before approving him for the squad for the tournament in Sri Lanka in September and October.
