The legendary Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar may have retired, but he still continues to rule the hearts of millions.&nbsp;
An ardent fan of the India cricket legend was in for a huge surprise when the batting maestro replied to his letter.
And Sachin's heartwarming response has gone viral on social media. Karan Gandhi sent a hand-written letter to Tendulkar, requesting for a signed letter in return.

The US-based Karan wrote, "My name is Karan, I currently live in US but am originally from India. I grew up seeing you play cricket, I missed countless tuition classes to watch you play day and night ODIs in India. I have always meant to write to you and express how honoured I am to be your fan and time and again be inspired by your sportsmanship and work ethic on the field."
The Little Master posted the letter on his Instagram account with a personal message as well.
Tendulkar was witty with his reply. He wrote, "Thank you for the letter, Karan Gandhi! I&rsquo;m sure your childhood tuition teacher mustn&rsquo;t have been too happy when ODI matches were on. :)"
