David Warner suspended until Ashes, fined

Australian batsman David Warner was today suspended for remainder of the Champions Trophy as well as the two Ashes series warm-up games and slapped with a fine of 11,500 dollars (approx Rs 6.35 lakh) for being involved in a physical altercation with an England player.
Australia's David Warner has been suspended until the start of the Ashes series and fined after attacking England's Joe Root in a bar, Cricket Australia (CA) said on Thursday.
"@davidwarner31 has been suspended up until the First Test of #TheAshes and fined $11,500," (£7,000, $11,000), the federation said on its Twitter account @CricketAus after a disciplinary hearing.
