Rohit Sharma hits a brilliant unbeaten 68 to guide Deccan Chargers to a 5-wicket victory over Kings XI Punjab in the IPL match at at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) Stadium here Friday.

Batting first, Kings XI scored 174 for 3, thanks to a fantastic 93 not out by Sri Lanka's Mahela Jayawardene. Punjab skipper Sangakkara scored 52.

Deccan Chargers got home scoring 178 for five in 19.1 overs to boost their semi-final chances.
