Deepak Jadhav to donate pension to Cricketers' Foundation, players

The MCA, it is learnt, denied Jadhav his pension since they felt he was doing well for himself, including owning a Mercedes car

Deepak Jadhav, the former Mumbai all-rounder, who was granted a R10,000 monthly pension by the Mumbai Cricket Association after a two-year struggle, has decided to donate the amount he will get with retrospective effect as well his monthly remittance.

Half the funds will be donated to Cricketers’ Foundation, a recently formed organisation which aims to better the lot of those from the cricketing fraternity who need financial assistance.
