Ranchi: After the day's play, Cheteshwar Pujara, talking the official broadcasters said that his experience of playing long inning in domestic cricket helped him stick to his game plan yesterday.
"I have the experience of scoring big runs in domestic cricket. That experience helped a lot," said the double centurion and added that he could have played more shots but restrained himself as the team needed him to stay on the wicket. "You look at the bigger picture. When I was batting, I thought we just wanted to get close to their total somehow. I had to restrict myself at times. I could have played more shots, but I didn't want to lose my wicket," added Pujara.
