Ram Singh Yadav, the father of India bowler Kuldeep Yadav, who bagged a hat-trick in the under-19 World Cup in Dubai yesterday, says the importance of his son's performance cannot be underplayed just because it came against a lesser team like Scotland.

Speaking from Kanpur, Yadav Sr said, "Kuldeep claimed three wickets off consecutive deliveries against Scotland, but his performance can not be underestimated. The competitive levels of under-19 boys are almost same for all teams and hence the importance of his hat-trick remains same.
