Stuart Broad joined fast bowler Steven Finn on England&#39;s injured list ahead of the Test series in India as the three-day tour match against Mumbai &#39;A&#39; ended in a draw on Monday. Vice-captain Broad bruised his left heel and team doctors were monitoring his progress just 10 days before the first Test of the four-match series starts in Ahmedabad on November 15. &quot;Scans show Broad has a bruised left heel. The seamer returned after four overs but did not bowl again, having managed 10 overs previously in four short spells as England&#39;s opponents reached 232 for 4 in reply to 345 for 9 declared. Finn, meanwhile, is likely to miss the first two games of the four-match series due to the thigh strain he sustained last week. The 23-year-old seamer was ruled out of the final warm-up match against Haryana, which starts on Thursday. Surrey paceman Stuart Meaker, who has been called up as a precautionary cover, is expected to join the tourists ahead of their last practice match in Ahmedabad from Thursday. The 23-year-old Meaker, who has been capped twice in the 50-over format will return to the England Performance Programme, once Finn is available for selection.
