Sydney: Former Australian swing bowler Gary Gilmour passed away after a prolonged battle with health related complications. He was 62.

Gilmour was a left arm swing bowler and a left handed batsman. He played 15 tests and five ODIs for Australia. He shot to fame after the semi-final of the inagural World Cup in 1975 where is took his career best figures of 6/14 to dismiss England for a paltry score of 93.
