Former India skipper Harmanpreet Kaur struggled to control her emotions after ending a lengthy lean patch with a sensational, unbeaten 91 off 41 balls in the third and final T20I against Zimbabwe. The veteran batter, who stepped down as captain across all formats earlier this month, had gone 10 matches without a half-century, enduring quiet outings during both the Women’s T20 Asia Cup and Asian Games despite India claiming both trophies.

"It feels great. Just wanted to enjoy myself, and great that I got some time in the middle and really enjoyed myself on the field," Harmanpreet told the host broadcaster during the innings break.
