A gritty unbeaten century from skipper Sahil Jadhav prevented Don Bosco High School (Matunga) from being steamrolled by Rizvi Springfield (Bandra) as the latter won the Giles Shield U-14 tournament on better run quotient at the Wankhede Stadium yesterday. Sahil's 150, which included 19 boundaries in 329 balls in a six-hour stay in the middle, helped Don Bosco post 331 for nine on the third and final day in reply to Rizvi's mammoth 495-8 declared.
