Umar Khute led the way for Anjuman-I-Islam Allana English School (Fort) with a stellar century before Little Star English High School (Worli) responded with a determined batting effort as their Dream Sports Mumbai School Sports Association (MSSA) inter-school Giles Shield encounter ended in a draw at Cross Maidan on Tuesday. Anjuman were adjudged winners based on their first innings lead.

After being bowled out for 196 in the first innings, Little Star fought hard to secure a draw, ending the day at 147-7 (40 overs), as Akshat starred with the bat too (83 off 75). Aarav Yadav was Anjuman’s best bowler (4-20).
