Shardashram Vidyamandir International School (Dadar) defeated defending champions Parag English School (Bhandup) by eight wickets to win the girls’ U-16 MSSA Manoramaben Apte inter-school cricket title at the MCA-BKC ground. Chasing 174, Ria Thakur (80) and Aashira Patil (79) stitched a match-winning 155-run stand to seal victory in 21.4 overs

Shardashram Vidyamandir International School (Dadar) outclassed defending champions Parag English School (Bhandup) by eight wickets to clinch the girls U-16 Mumbai School Sports Association (MSSA) Manoramaben Apte inter-school cricket title at the MCA-BKC ground on Thursday.

Opting to bat, Parag English posted a competitive 173-3 in their allotted 22 overs, riding on two solid half-tons from Vedika Nikam (87 off 60 balls), and Tanisha Sharma (56 off 52).
