Gurnoor Brar reprimanded for ICC code of conduct breach against England

India pacer Gurnoor Brar has been warned after breaching level one of the ICC Code of Conduct during the ODI series opener against England in Birmingham. The young fast bowler was found to have breached Article 2.9 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which relates to 'throwing a ball at or near a player in an inappropriate and/or dangerous manner during an international match.'

Along with the official reprimand, Brar has been handed one demerit point as part of his disciplinary record, making it his first offence in 24 months.
