Following his 49-ball 50 on Test debut against Sri Lanka here yesterday, India's Hardik Pandya completed a circle of top performances on debut across all formats.
On his ODI debut against New Zealand in Dharamsala last year, he sent back Martin Guptil in his first over as an international cricketer and finished the innings with 7-0-33-1.
On his Twenty20 international against Australia in Adelaide last year, he returned figures of 3-0-37-2. He hit a six off the second ball he faced in his first Indian Premier League match for Mumbai Indians against Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2015 and ended up scoring 16 off just six deliveries.

Pandya's innings was spiced with five fours and three sixes as India reached 600. He enjoyed a slice of fortune when he was dropped at first slip off Rangana Herath.
"He is a very good all-rounder and when it comes to his batting, he trusts his strength. He dominates the bowlers and plays his shots especially with a tailender at the other end.
"He showed that he can perform as an all-rounder at the highest level," said century-maker Cheteshwar Pujara after the day's play.
