<p>Batting first, the defending champions bundled out Baroda for 210 in 49.1 overs. Spinners Tanush Kotian (3-44), Prashant Solanki (3-61) and Shams Mulani (2-40) were the pick of the bowlers for Mumbai, while Dhawal Kulkarni and Tushar Deshpande claimed one wicket each. In reply, Mumbai scored 100-3 in 23 overs before play was interrupted due to rain.</p>

<p>Ruturaj Gaikwad scored his second successive hundred in as many days to lead Maharashtra to an eight-wicket win over Chhattisgarh. The Maharashtra skipper on Wednesday left the job unfinished, getting out for 136 in their high-scoring chase v Madhya Pradesh, but this time, he paced his innings beautifully on the way to an unbeaten 154 and chased down 276 with three overs to spare.</p>
