Khan said that Ajmal could replace the injured pacer Muhammad Irfan, who was ruled out of the World Cup on Tuesday with a stress fracture of the pelvic. Pakistan take on co-hosts Australia at the Adelaide Oval on Friday. "We are sending no replacement for Irfan for the quarter finals because we don't have time as by the time the
replacement reaches Adelaide it will be too late for him to take part in the quarter final," Khan said.
