Sydney: South African all-rounder Faf du Plessis said they underestimated Mohit Sharma's throwing arm after the India pacer effected a brilliant run out of Proteas skipper AB de Villiers during Sunday's high profile World Cup clash at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

De Villiers played a shot to sweeper cover and took off for the second run. However, Mohit threw the ball right over the stumps as wicketkeeper MS Dhoni did the rest.
