In the one-off Test match against Afghanistan, Team India emerged victorious by an innings and 300 runs at the Maharaja Singh PCA Stadium in New Chandigarh.
Opening in the second innings, Sediquallah Atal accumulated 42 runs in 80 balls, including five boundaries and a maximum. Fellow opening batsman Abdul Malik departed after scoring eight runs in 40 balls.
