At the moment, its a three-way race between Wriddhiman Saha, Naman Ojha and Dinesh Karthik.
However, 31-year-old Ojha, who was flown to Australia for the first Test as cover is not concerned about the rat race for the Test spot. "I am focusing on the task at hand.
I am ready to play as a specialist batsman in the team if not as wicketkeeper," Ojha said on the eve of Madhya Pradesh's Ranji Trophy clash against Mumbai.
Ojha, who made his first-class debut when he was only 17, said the frustration creeps in playing the waiting game.
"Yes it (frustration ) does happen at times. I scored two hundreds and a double ton in Australia during the India 'A' tour last July.
I followed it up with another double hundred in the Duleep Trophy. My job is to perform which I will keep doing," he said.
