Former pacer Varun Aaron feels that England batsmen won't be comfortable heading into the third Test match at Lord's Cricket Ground, considering the return of lead pacer Jasprit Bumrah.

He also lauded star bowlers Mohammed Siraj and Aakash Deep for their impressive performances in the second Test match.

"I do not think England's batters are going to be very comfortable heading into Lord's, especially after the way Mohammed Siraj and Akash Deep bowled in the last Test. And now, with a resurgent Jasprit Bumrah coming back into the side, the threat only intensifies," Aaron said on JioHotstar.

Aaron also hailed Washington Sundar and lauded pacer Prasidh Krishna, who was continuously facing criticism for leaking runs against the 'Three Lions'.

"Washington Sundar has looked solid too. Even Prasidh Krishna, in that final spell on Day 5 at Edgbaston--especially at the start of the day, really showed significant progress. He looked like a bowler, who wants to hit his areas consistently, rather than just float the ball in. That intent makes a big difference," added Aaron.

Bumrah missed the second Test match due to workload management. In his absence, Siraj and Akash led the Indian pace attack and helped the side secure a win by a huge margin of 336 runs.

It will be interesting to see if Team India provides another opportunity to Karun Nair, who is yet to put on a big score in the ongoing series.

On the other hand, skipper Shubman Gill has been in sublime form. The right-hander has already accumulated  585 runs in four innings. With this, he may aim to break the record set by the legendary batsman, Sir Donald Bradman of all-time highest run-tally by any batter in a Test series, which is 974 runs.

Additionally, England has added one of the fiercest pacers, Jofra Archer, to their playing XI. The pacer's inclusion has provided England a massive boost, but can pose a challenge against the young Team India.

Notably, India has won two of their past three matches at the venue during their last three tours.. The third Test match between India and England will kick off on July 10 at 3.30 pm.
