At the stroke of lunch on day three of the IND vs ENG 4th Test, Jurel lost his wicket to Tom Hartley. The hosts were bowled out for 307 runs in their first essay against England. India's spin wizard Kuldeep Yadav shouldered Jurel to guide the hosts to a fighting total. Yadav scored 28 runs off 131 balls including 2 fours. The duo milked 76 runs

Despite the fall of wickets, India wicketkeeper-batsman Dhruv Jurel stood strong and missed his well-deserved century by just 10 runs. He scored 90 runs in 149 deliveries including 6 fours and 4 sixes on day three of the IND vs ENG 4th Test.


At the stroke of lunch on day three of the IND vs ENG 4th Test, Jurel lost his wicket to Tom Hartley. The hosts were bowled out for 307 runs in their first essay against England.

The England bowlers showcased extraordinary skills with the ball and wrapped up India's first innings of the fourth test in 103.2 overs.

For England, Shoaib Bashir completed his maiden five-wicket haul. England's young spinner Shooaib Bashir completed his maiden five-wicket haul. He attained this milestone on day three of the IND vs ENG 4th Test.

India's spin wizard Kuldeep Yadav shouldered Jurel to guide the hosts to a fighting total. Yadav scored 28 runs off 131 balls including 2 fours. The duo milked crucial 76 runs in 202 balls. Opening batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal was the second-highest run scorer from India's perspective in their first innings of the IND vs ENG 4th Test, He smashed 73 runs including 8 fours and 1 six.

Yadav perished when England took the second new ball and James Anderson had the batter walking back after an inside edge which rolled onto the stumps.

England's veteran pacer James Anderson struck two wickets, Tom Hartley registered three wickets and Bashir ended his spell with a fifer to his name.

Brief scores: England 353 lead India 303 in 103.2 overs (Yashasvi Jaiswal 73, Dhruv Jurel 90; Shoaib Bashir 5/119, Tom Hartley 3/68) by 46 runs.
