Following the drama in the fourth Test match between Team India and England, Australian spinner Nathan Lyon also expressed his views by saying 'get them out'.
As quoted by The Sydney Herald, Lyon said, "Get them out. Don't let them get a hundred".
On Day 5 of the fourth Test match against Team India, England skipper Ben Stokes, along with his two teammates, Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett, were seen asking Ravindra Jadeja to shake hands and call the match for an early draw.
Jadeja refused to call the match for an early draw, as he and Washington Sundar were cruising to their respective centuries.
"Jaddu, do you want to get a Test 100 against Brook and Duckett?," Stokes asked Jadeja. Later, the Indian all-rounder replied by saying, "What do you want me to do, just walk off?".
Crawley, who stood close to the crease, chipped in, saying: "You can, just shake your hand".
In the final moments of Day 5, emotions boiled over after India fought with every ounce of strength to keep the series alive courtesy of Ravindra Jadeja's (107*) and Washington Sundar's (101*) gritty 203-run unbeaten partnership, which kept the 1-2 score line intact.
The fifth Test match is all set to be played at The Oval, starting from July 31. Ahead of the all-important clash, the reports suggest that India will miss the services of its lead pacer Jasprit Bumrah. The BCCI's medical team has suggested him to not play the final match, considering his workload management. In his absence, pacer Akash Deep may likely return to the playing XI.
Further speaking about the Ashes rivalry, Lyon said that fans want to witness cricket being played on competitive pitches and are not interested in watching what happened in Manchester.
"So it's going to be challenging for their batters and challenging for our batters. That's the way cricket should be, you want to see competition between bat and ball. I think that's crucial, and all the fans, that's what they want to see, they don't really want to watch what happened over in Manchester last week," Lyon said.
