Team India defeated England in the fifth and the final Test match at The Oval. This victory was more than just a win — it was a statement of belief and resilience.
Following the famous win, the official social media handle of Team India posted a video in which the players and head coach reflected on the triumph.
Head coach Gautam Gambhir said the Test team's ideology would be team-first, not individual-centric.
"That is gonna be the ideology of the Test team, where it won't be about individual-centric, it will be about the team," said Gambhir.
"The way the boys have fought, I've always been a big believer. You should always get what you deserve, not what you want, and I think guys deserve," he added. Taking to Instagram:

Shubman Gill, for whom it was his debut series as a captain, was also elated after the win. He said that he was happy with how different people stepped up at different moments.
"I'm feeling very ecstatic and high right now and very happy with the way everyone performed, very happy with the way everyone contributed throughout the series. Different people stepping in at different moments. This is what you want as a captain, and I'm very happy with the way I performed as a batsman as well," said Gill, who also scored 754 runs in the five-match Test series against England.
KL Rahul, who was one of the veterans in a team full of youngsters and newcomers, said he ranked the series as the best that he has been a part of.
"Extremely special and I think right up there in terms of the best Test series that I've been part of. Pleasing, really happy, and proud of the way we've all played and how we've represented our country," he said.
The five-match Test series between Team India and England ended in a 2-2 draw. During the series, several Team India players rose to the occasion and managed to draw the series without the likes of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Ravichandran Ashwin.
