Indian wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan has been ruled out of Saturday’s second T20I against New Zealand here on Saturday due to a right adductor strain that he sustained during the series-opener.

Teenage sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who has been warming the bench since the Asian Games, is expected to play in place of Kishan. Meanwhile, uncapped wicketkeeper-batter Kumar Kushagra was added to the Indian squad as a cover for Kishan.
