The first match is scheduled to be played on November 4 at the Eden Park in Auckland.
Ahead of the series, Team India's pacer Prasidh Krishna has been ruled out. He is still recovering from his hamstring injury and will need additional time to be match-ready.
The pacer will join India A squad for the third and final four-day matches against <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/sports/cricket/article/ind-vs-nz-4th-t20i-lockie-ferguson-out-of-action-for-the-remainder-of-series-23657532" rel="nofollow">New Zealand</a> A. However, his availability will be subject to him clearing the Return to Play (RTP) assessment. This will provide him an opportunity to gain match practice and prepare accordingly for the Test series against the "Black Caps".
Currently, the "Men in Blue" are busy featuring in the five-match T20I series against the "Black Caps". The hosts have already sealed the series and are leading by 3-0, with two games yet to be played.
