After India's drubbing in the recently concluded Test series against South Africa, former cricketer Herschelle Gibbs has suggested that the side shorten the Indian Premier League (IPL) and focus on playing more Test cricket to improve their performance

In the second Test match against South Africa, Team India suffered a humiliating loss by a margin of 408 runs at the Assam Cricket Association Stadium in Guwahati.
The win also helped the visitors to register a whitewash by 2-0 against Team India.
