Samson's innings included 9 fours and 4 sixes as he dominated the WI bowlers. He was well supported by Ishan Kishan, who scored 42 runs off 22 deliveries. In the death overs, Tilak Varma chipped in with 44 runs off 18 balls to take India to 249/5 at the end of their innings.
