The president of Indian cricket's governing body has stepped down from a panel that will probe Lalit Modi after the suspended IPL chief accused him of bias, an official said on Friday.

The president of Indian cricket's governing body has stepped down from a panel that will probe Lalit Modi after the suspended IPL chief accused him of bias, an official said on Friday.

Shashank Manohar was due to sit on a three-man disciplinary committee of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) that will hear allegations of corruption, indiscipline and money-laundering against Modi.
