The India U-19 team registered a massive 97-run win over England in the second and final four-day match to win the series 2-0 here yesterday.
England looked set to pull off a draw after India set a 339-run target, but a sudden batting collapse saw the hosts bowled out for 241 as the visitors closed out the game with just 3.2 overs remaining.
All-rounder Shivam Mavi finished with figures of three for 40, while Ashok Sandhu and Vivekanand Tiwari claimed two wickets each as England lost their last six wickets for just 21 runs.
Pacer Kamlesh Nagarkoti (1-60) and spinner Rahul Chahar (1-51) were the other wicket-takers for India in the second innings.
India were bowled out for 292 in the first innings after which they dismissed the hosts 284. India then made 330 in the second innings. The India colts had beaten England by 334 runs in the first match last week.
