The Indian government has put Indo-Pak cricket on hold following the 26/11 terror attacks in Mumbai in 2008, but the debate on the issue continues.

"It's up to the govt to decide, but I feel players of both countries are keen to play the series. Right now all we can do is hope for things to fall in place," said Karim on the sidelines of the Coca-Cola U-16 Cricket Cup' announcement yesterday.

The tournament will be played across 10 states featuring over 700 schools from across India, with the winners standing to gain Rs 1 lakh and runners up Rs 70,000 rupees. Besides, three promising players will be sent to the United Kingdom for a training stint.
